Dell Streak & Aero Pricing Unveiled

Dell has released information about the pricing of its 3-inch Android smartphone as well as a 5-inch smartphone/tablet hybrid UMPC device known as the Streak. The Aero , will be the smaller 3-inch version and will retail for $99 on contract or $300 sans contract on August 9th. The larger Streak , previously thought to go for $500 unlocked, is a bit more expensive with an unlocked, contract-free price of $549 and a contract price on AT&T of $299.

Amidst all the bad news surrounding the iPhone 4 and its antennagate issue , there is some good news, as Apple has announced that the iPhone 4 will be launching in 17 more countries this Friday, which will include: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

The rumors of a $149 price tag for Microsoft’s Kinect accessory for the Xbox 360 were true. Microsoft on Tuesday finally announced the pricing for both a standalone Kinect bundle, which will ship with the Kinect hardware and the Kinect Adventures game for $149, as well as a bundle of the Xbox 360 hardware, a Kinect unit, and Kinect Adventures for $299. Rumors of the $149 price tag began circulating months ago , and were all but confirmed just a week after E3 when Microsoft’s own online store listed the peripheral for that price, despite the company not yet announcing it.
