In the wake of the China attacks that resulted in Google threatening to leave China , the search giant is abandoning Windows due to concerns over security. According to the Financial Times , the technology titan has been slowly phasing out the use of Windows internally since January, not long after it was assaulted by Chinese hackers.

A recent Apple Inc. job posting has revealed that the company intends to focus on bringing the iPhone OS onto new gadgets, devices and platforms. The job posting from the Cupertino, CA, company specifically calls for an engineering manager to handle “platform bring-up.” In the job description, Apple states that it’s looking for a manager “to lead a team focused on bring-up of iPhone OS on new platforms.” It seems like Apple wants some outside talent with very strong technical experience, especially when it comes to bringing software onto multiple hardware devices

Fans and critics alike may soon have access to the first authorized biography of Apple CEO Steve Jobs. According to the New York Times , former Time magazine editor Walter Isaacson has been selected to work with Jobs. Currently, neither Isaacson nor Jobs have confirmed the report, but the paper claims to have spoken to multiple individuals with inside knowledge of the project.
