Rihanna will take her first step into Hollywood with a role in director Peter Berg’s science-fiction-tinged board-game adaptation, “Battleship.”

There’s no word on how her character factors into the story, but Variety confirms that the “Love the Way You Lie” singer is joining the cast that already includes Taylor Kitsch and Alexander Skarsg
