Want to use Google Earth on Nokia N900 without having to install any app? If you own a Nokia’s Internet Tablet, then you are really lucky, since it is flash enabled which means you can have the ultimate internet experience on the go. Enter Flash Earth, the flash version of Google Earth that allows you to travel around the world from the comfort of your large screen based N900.
To access it, all you need to do is open FlashEarth.com on your N900 browser which I am guessing is Firefox Mobile, and you are good to go. The app, as you will see from the video (embedded below) works smoothly and uses Microsoft maps. You can opt for other sources but you won’t get the details as you will get with the Microsoft maps. The flash based site enables you to zoom deeply and get a closer look at the location of your desire. The compass is rotatable which is another cool feature in my opinion.
Looking at the video, It seems there is no need for you to use Google Earth on your desktop if you have the Maemo powered phone. Am I right in saying that? Do let us know.
